National Junior Honor Society

Available to Grades: Grade 7-8

 

 

1. To create enthusiasm for academic excellence.
2. To stimulate a desire to render service.
3. To promote leadership.
4. To develop character.
5. To encourage citizenship in the students of Midland School.

Brief description of activities in which students participate:

1. Conduct business meetings according to Robert's Rules of Order.
2. Take part in multi-town leadership conference.
3. Tutoring of other students at Midland.
4. Assisting in Homework Club.
5. Assisting at Awards Assembly & Graduation (Gr. 7 members).
6. Assisting faculty members as after school aides.
7. Other service projects for school and community.

 

Students will become better citizens in both school and community.
